之前小编讲了几个情态动词的常见用法，今天我们不妨来了解两个常考的情态词组吧：might as well和had better。
1. might as well的意思是“不妨…，倒不如…”，比如：
You might as well apply for the job; you've got nothing to lose.
你倒不如申请这份工作，反正也没啥损失。
You might as well tell her the truth.
你不妨告诉她真相。
2. had better的意思是“最好（做某事）”，用于表示劝告、建议或一种愿望，比如：
You'd better finish today's assignment, for tomorrow we'll have other things to do.
你最好把今天的任务完成，因为明天我们还有其他事情要做。
You'd better go home and rest up a little.
你最好回家好好休息。
注意：had better 后要跟动词原形，构成had better do sth.句型。
另外，had better的否定形式是had better not，比如：
You hadn’t better go. (×)
You had better not go. (√)
