根据考研英语（二）近十年的真题写作来看，柱状图和折线图中的动态数据出现的方式大致可以分为两种，一种显示的是不同时间段不同对象的变化，另一种是同一时间段不同对象之间的差异。
而无论是以哪一种方式呈现，都要求我们要先准确客观地描述数据，进而才能分析和阐述数据产生的原因。
那么，今天就跟随胖嘟一起来学习一下几个关于读取数据的有用表达吧~
1 a quarter of... 四分之一的……
例：Investors now account for a quarter of all land purchases in some states.
在某些州，农业用地交易有四分之一为投资者所购买。
注意：a quarter意为1/4，此外，在英语表达习惯中，分数是由基数词和序数词构成的，即分子用基数词，分母用序数词；若分子大于“1”时，分母用复数。比如以下表达：
1/2：a half 1/3：a/one third 1/5：a/one fifth
2/3：two thirds 3/4：three quarters 3/5：three fifths
2 some大约
例：Some 300 migrants arrived to live in Canada every week in 2017. 在2017年，每周大约有300名移民来加拿大定居。
3 up to.../as much as... 多达……
例：As is shown in the chart, up to two million people children were orphaned in 2012 in Africa. 如图表中所示，2000年非洲有多达200万名的儿童成为了孤儿。
例：According to the chart above, the number of tourists in this city has increased by as much as 20% from 2010 to 2018. 根据上图所示，该城市的游客总数从2010年到2018年涨了多达20%。
4 less than/under... 少于，不到；
more than/over... 多于，超过
例：There are two thirds make an annual income of less than/under﹩10 000. 有三分之二的人的年收入不到（/少于）1万美元。
例：In Indonesia, more than/over 500 million people live below the poverty line. 在印度尼西亚，有超过（/多于）5亿人口生活在贫困线以下。
3 with an estimated... 估计有……
例：Namibia has one of the highest HIV prevalence rates in the world, with an estimated 15.3% of the adult population affected. 纳米比亚是世界上艾滋病毒流行率最高的国家之一，估计有15.3%的成年人遭受影响。
