1、such …… that和so …… that均表示“如此……以至于”，that后面是表示结果的从句，例如：

2、such后面一定是个名词短语，什么名词都可以，但是一定是名词短语，例如：

They are such interesting novels that I want to read them once again.
这些是如此有趣的小说以至于我想再读一遍。（可数名词复数）
He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him.

3、so后面一定是形容词或副词，不能是名词短语，例如：
Dr. Wang is so good that everybody loves and respects him.
王医生是如此之好以至于大家都尊敬爱戴他。（形容词）
I am so tired that I want to sleep right now.
我是如此之累以至于我想马上睡觉。（形容词）
He speaks so quickly that l cannot understand his words.
他说得如此之快以至于我不明白他的意思。（副词）
4、特殊情况：如果such后面的名词短语有many、much、few、little这样的词修饰，不用such，改用so，例如：
He had so many falls that he was black and blue all over.
他摔了如此之多的跟头以至于全身上下青一块紫一块的。
He had so little education that he was unfit for this job.
他受过如此之少的教育以至于他不适合这个工作。
There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters could not get close to the building.
街上有如此之多的人观看大火以至于消防队员无法接近大楼。
