1. be made of ... 由.......制成（能看出原材料，这里指只是物理变化）
Eg：The desk is made of wood. 桌子是由木头制成的。
2. be made from ... 由.......制成（看不出原材料，这里指经过化学变化看不出原材料）
Eg：The red paper is made from wood. 纸是由木头制成的。
3. be made in ... 在.......制造
Eg：This cellphone is made in America. 这部手机是由美国制造的。
4. be made by... 由（谁）制造
Eg：This cake was made by my mother. 这个蛋糕是由我妈妈做的。
5. be made up of ... 由（谁）组成（强调组成部分）
Eg：The medical team is made up of three doctors and five nurses. 这个医疗团队是由3个医生和5个护士组成。
6. be made into... 被制成......
Eg：Metal can be made into all kinds of things. 金属可以制成各种各样的物品。
我们来看两道这方面的易错题：
1. The wine is made ＿＿ grapes.

解析：B 酒是由葡萄制成的。因为经过了化学变化，看不成原材料，所以要用be made from这个短语。
2. The sweater is made ＿＿ cotton.

解析：A 这道题是易错题，很多同学认为毛衣已经看不出原材料了，所以用了be made from这个短语，但是制成毛衣这个过程并没有经过化学变化，所以要用be made of这个短语。在初中中考试题中用到be made from这个短语是非常有限的。最常见的用法有三类，一类是The paper is made from wood. （纸是由木头制成的。）第二类是The ink is made from carbon.（墨水是由碳制成的。） 第三类是The red wine is made from grapes. （红酒是由葡萄制成的）
