辨析each与every
(1)从数量上看each指两个或两个以上的人或物中"每个”,every指三个或三个以上人或物中“每个”。
如:You can sit on each end of the boat. 你可以坐船的任意一边。
On every side of the square there are a lot of fags.广场的每一侧都有许多旗。
(2)从含义和语法功能上看:each是单个含义侧重于个体，从每个个体去看。
every与all意思相近,含有“全体”的含义，是从整体去看,有时也可互换，只作定语，即后面必须接名词。
如：Each of us has a book.每人有一本书。
The children came and I gave an apple to
each孩子们来了,我给他们每人一个苹果。
Every student is here.每个学生都来了。= All the students are here.所有学生都来了。
(3)each作同位语时，位置可放在其名词或代词后也可放在句尾。作主语同位语时，谓语单、复数由其前面的名词或代词而定。
如：They each have a book of English. 他们每人均有一
本英语书。= They have a book of English each.
(4)every只作定语，而它的合成词只作主语、宾语和表语，而不作定语，即every后必须跟名词，而它的合成词后面绝不能跟名词。
如：Every body is here. = Everybody is here.每个人都来了。
定语
Every book is good.每本书都很好。
Every与one ，body,thing构成复合不定代词时，谓语用单数，后不接of短语。
注意不说Everyone of us is studying hard.
可说Every one of us is studying hard.我们每个人学习很努力。
