Honestly. No fanbase disrespects its history more than the NBA fans. MLB, NFL, euro (and other soccer leagues), NHL, etc all respect their history, I can imagine talking bad about a historic player like Karl Malone but less than a week ago we were talking all this shit about Walt Frazier who has been nothing but class and a nice man.
